Camping, food and beer – sounds like the ideal recipe to us, and that’s what’s on offer at Chester this Easter. The city has played host to an annual food and drink festival for a while now, and this year organisers are adding CamperFest to the attractions.
They’ve renamed the whole kit and caboodle the Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival, which will be happening from Saturday April 3 to Monday April 5.
Camping is available from Thursday April 1 from 2pm onwards. Tickets are £20 per person plus a ‘campervan ticket’ at £10 per person until March 26 (after which spaces will rocket to £30 each).
For this you get to camp for four nights (Thur to Sun) at Chester Racecourse with toilet and shower facilities (no electric); plus entry to the Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival (Sat, Sun, Mon) and entry to the Beer Festival (Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun).
Go to www.chesterfoodanddrink.com and click on the CamperFest tab for more information and a booking form.
